![]() ![]() On entering the restaurant which was almost empty the waiter asked had we booked, when we said we hadn't he sighed and lead us through the empty restaurant to a table. Visited this restaurant with a work colleague with a view to booking for a large party at Christmas. Nothing taken of the bill or any means of compensation. But she said no and was sorry we didn't enjoy the food. I explained to her about the food and asked if they had changed chefs. Whilst paying the bill, the manageress asked how the food was, well I told her we have been customers here for years and when my sister and her family come from Dubai they use here a lot and we come here too a lot but I am afraid we won't be back. I had a large wine and my cousin an irn bru. Bearing in mind both mains were about £8.75. My cousin ordered a vegetarian pizza, came on a thin base which was fine and whilst eating some of it didn't think the base was cooked right therefor left about half of it. No offer of black pepper or Parmesan cheese. Then I had lasagna and portion was about the size of my hand with hardly any mince in it and came in a tiny round dish no bigger than my hand. We had minestrone soup to start with which was a tiny portion in a tiny bowl, the soup was so watered down and hardly any vegetables in it and cost £4.20, definately not worth it. We didn't fancy the lunch offers, so opted for Al a carte instead after all there was just a few pounds difference on some of the main courses. Waiter came to take drinks order, gave us a few minutes to order of menu. Been in the past and everything was great. I took my cousin here for her birthday at lunch time. ![]()
