![]() Great value! I also noted they have takeout on the hot bar and sushi bar for separate prices with the sushi being $8 for 12 pieces. I love Todia's but there are no longer any on the east coast, this is almost as good as Tosia's at a fraction of the cost! The sushi was great, they had a cold seafood bar and nice selection of desserts that I did not try and all of this for $16 and some change after taxes but before the tip. The wait service was quick on refills and removing used dishes. My only neg observation was the won ton soup had nothing but noodles (no won tons) and it was not refilled while I was there but they were quick to refill any other items that were getting low. The Chinese part did not have a great selection but what they had was good. I had about given up finding a good Chinese resturant and forget about sushi affordable resturant in Fort Myers! Then I found Jing Du, great selection of fresh beautifully presented sushi. And, before 4pm, it was $10 each.About the price you would pay for a dragon roll at a sushi joint. Good service, brought the tea right away, took away empty plates immediately, clean, friendly. And desserts.a variety of ice creams, cheese cake, cream puffs. Honestly, I filled up on sushi, but it all looked pretty good. beef and broccoli, surimi stir fry, chicken wings, fried rice, low mein noodles, and a few others. The chinese side had bbq pork.OK, but a bit dry. Just choose your own protein and veg and they will sear it for you. On top of that they had you peel-em shrimp, and mussels, and fresh coleslaw. Very clean, very fresh, very eat variety. Nice fresh wasabi and ginger provided.and, around 25 different rolls. Two kiinds of seaweed, black and green, both excellent, but I liked the green a bit more.just my personal taste. First the Japanese.salmon and tuna sushi, both fresh, and very good. The difference is that most of it is very good. This one is predominantly Japanese, so has more of a sushi selection.but, it still had 10-12 of the typical dishes you would see at the Chinese buffet. Typical buffet, whether Chinese of Japanese. Can't ask for anything more!Īnd much to eat, and most of it very good. It had delightful food with fresh ingredients, place immaculate, service perfect. So, if you are a skeptic and pass this one by, drop in. I am excited to go back and when I told hubs I loved it, he was shocked b/c he knows how I feel about buffet restaurants. They remove plates promptly, refill water and are busy replacing items and cleaning without interfering with diners. ![]() ![]() Delicious and refreshing! Service was perfect. I did try a little bit of the Green Tea Ice Cream. I am not a big dessert eater, but was intrigued by the dessert buffet, which would please any big sugar eater. ![]() Much more I would have loved to try, but I don't eat much at one sitting, so I will sample other items next time. Also, I sampled the chicken wings, well done like they should be, ribs, chicken satay. Everything is clearly labeled, so if you aren't a raw sushi fan, no chance of getting the wrong thing. Crab Rangoon was perfectly cooked and plump with REAL crab meat, not the rubbery imitation often substituted at restaurants. One man was just eating a big plate of shrimp, nothing else, I observed. Now for the food! For $9.99 lunch I couldn't believe the size of the fresh chilled shrimp with lemons. Utensils for taking food were cleaned and replaced often. Wow! I couldn't believe it! The buffets, one Japanese, a lot of sushi, but delightful salads, a Chinese, and a dessert buffet were immaculate and have special "sneeze guards" which makes it difficult for people to touch everything. We arrived right when they opened (my request to cut down on germs). A friend of mine is a regular at the buffet restaurant, so when she suggested meeting for lunch, I reluctantly accepted because I HATE BUFFET restaurants! Haven't been to one in many years b/c my previous experiences were negative. ![]()
